The Baron and Baroness of North Cadbury, a summer holiday with a difference

This week Manorial Counsel received an email from the Baron and Baroness of North Cadbury who had a great experience with their title.

Baron of North Cadbury

Earlier in the year the Baron of North Cadbury was contacted by the Parish Council and invited to visit his Manor and local community.

This summer the village of North Cadbury welcomed the Baron and Baroness of North Cadbury.

They were thrilled to be able to participate in various projects.  They enjoyed visits to the surrounding areas of Galhampton, South Cadbury, and Castle Cary. The churchwarden of St Michaels church and the vice chairman of the Village Hall management committee guided them through the countryside, where they visited the historic church, manor house, and the famous Cadbury Castle.

They were made so welcome by the community, and it was rewarding to visit the village hall – the centre of the community to which the Baron was able to support, as his predecessors before him would have done.  It is wonderful to hear of the rapport struck up with the community.

A return visit is planned for next year.
